Accreditation Day
By the end of 2020, LTA Accreditation will be MANDATORY for all Level 3 Coaches and above, and best practise Level 1 and Level 2 Coaches (some employers may insist).
To be able to apply, you must have a Qualification (e.g. Level 1), First Aid (must be ‘Emergency First Aid at Work’ Course), Safeguarding training, and an LTA DBS.
These are the planned accreditation days:

You can also book one or two of the sessions as required.
1) First Aid: 8:30 - 15:30
- To book – Visit the First Aid tab and use the Buy Now button
- Only £65 for Coach Academy customers (normally £85)
- Maximum 12 places per Course
2) Safeguarding: 16:00 - 19:00
- To book – Visit the LTA website, search Safeguarding Courses, and select the one at Wycombe Abbey School on 21/09/19 or David Lloyd Milton Keynes on 06/10/19
- Enrol and pay on the website - costs £30
- Maximum 20 places per Course
3) DBS and ID Check: all day
- On the LTA website, find applying for Criminal Record Checks in the Safeguarding section.
- Fill in the application form. (A fee to the LTA will be payable after ID check has been done). Complete this at least TWO DAYS before the course.
- You then need to do an ID check, which Chris can do for you on the day.
- You can also do this ID check at a main post office, check DBS website for details
- On the DBS website, it will tell you what DOCUMENTS to bring.
