Job Description: We are looking for an energetic, confident and self-motivated tennis coach to join our team to work with juniors, adults and holiday camps. The successful candidate must be reliable, punctual, highly organized with good communication skills

Venue: Local tennis clubs in South Bucks

 Experience in running and delivering mini tennis squads and adult group   sessions for all ages and abilities

An exciting opportunity for full and part-time coaches

 

Tennis Works is looking for exceptional Tennis Coaches to operate within our programmes at Stony Stratford Lawn Tennis Club (SSLTC) in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, helping us to ensure that SSLTC is the premier family club in the area providing competitive tennis to all abilities up to the highest county level. There is also the opportunity to participate in our schools outreach programme and work at satellite centres alongside this.

 

We are looking for Coaches who have experience and understanding in delivering quality development programmes to children aged 3 to 17 years of age. There is also the opportunity to deliver the demanding requirements of an Adult Programme, catering for Beginners, Improvers, Intermediate and Advanced Players, as well as delivering Tennis Master-classes to SSLTC Team Players.

These positions offer the opportunity to coach to groups as well as on a one to one basis to both members of SSLTC and non-members.

 

The positions are offered on a self-employed basis under a Coaching Agreement. Full (25 hours plus) and part-time (12 hours plus) positions are available, with the coaching time split equally between group programme and individual coaching.

The ideal candidate(s):

  •   Qualified as a minimum to LTA Level 3, or international equivalent with LTA accreditation.

  •   For the role of Performance Coach qualified to a minimum LTA Level 4 and of a good personal playing

    level, able to hit with competition level players of 7.1 rating and above.

  •   LTA accredited.

  •   Hold Public liability insurance.

  •   First Aid certified.

  •   DBS checked.

  •   Hold a valid UK driving licence.

  •   Able to deliver high quality coaching sessions to students of all ages and abilities.

  •   Good communication, organisational skills and high levels of personal professionalism.

  •   A willingness to adapt, develop and share knowledge within the Tennis Works coaching team.

  •   Motivated, punctual, reliable and self-disciplined

Maidenhead LTC - 2 coaches wanted

Maidenhead LTC was founded in 1879 and is one of the oldest tennis clubs in the world. Today the club has a thriving membership of 500 adults and 200 juniors and is the largest all members club in Berkshire with access to indoor facilities as well. The club is a LTA Grant Aided Centre and has been awarded the prestigious TennisMark+ kite mark. The club has an excellent reputation for providing an all-inclusive coaching programme creating a fun, safe and enjoyable environment for children to experience a wonderful sport. NMT Coaching Services seeks a LTA Level 2 Accredited Coach to develop the community programme and to support the coaching team in the delivery of the development and performance programmes (Club Futures Squads) at Maidenhead LTC. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, reliable and enthusiastic coach with the ability to show high levels of energy on court. They will have a proven ability to work well individually as well as in a team.

  • Qualified LTA Level 2(or equivalent) or higher.

  • Valid First Aid Certification

Exciting Opportunity with Challenge Tennis!

Challenge Tennis are looking for an energetic and highly motivated LTA Accredited+ Coach to help maintain, develop and innovate the junior and adult coaching programmes at our two principle tennis clubs: Great Missenden and Chesham 1879 (with additional opportunities to work at our smaller satellite clubs). The role will be supporting the Head Coaches of both main clubs as well as other exciting development opportunities.

The programme incorporates scheduled junior and adult groups, development coaching sessions and individual tuition. We also have links with several local schools.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about all aspects of the game from the top level down to grass roots. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able demonstrate the ability to work as part of a larger team. Sound organisational skills are key as well as a professional attitude in the workplace.

For this role, proven experience of working with a wide-range of ages and playing levels in club programmes is a pre-requisite.

Candidates should be LTA Level 3 qualified. Level 2’s looking to take/are taking their Level 3 will also be considered. Competitive salary available dependent on experience.

Start date will be from after October half term 2018 (specific date can be flexible according to individual availability).
